GLENN CLOSE

Glenn Close is a mother, actor and producer extraordinaire. She has five Academy Award® nominations an Emmy® Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award® and three Tony Awards®.

With a lengthy film, television and stage career under her belt, Close currently has the starring role in the new hit series "Damages" on F/X. Her versatility as an actor shines in films from "Dangerous Liaisons" and "The Big Chill," to "Fatal Attraction" and Disney's "101 Dalmatians;" on television in "The Shield" and "The Lion in Winter" to "Sarah, Plain and Tall" and also on the stage in plays such as "Sunset Boulevard" and "Death and the Maiden."

In addition to her busy acting career, Close also serves as a Trustee Emeritus of the Sundance Institute and a Trustee of the Wildlife Conservation Society. One of her latest projects is a blog, called "Lively Licks" on the Web site www.fetchdog.com, dedicated to all things canine and recently launched by a team headed by her husband David Shaw.
